This is an optional Serpent 20° Front Pivot Pin Brace. This pivot pin provides 5° less front kickup than the stock 25° brace. Less kickup makes the steering feel more aggressive, but decreases bump handling performance. More kickup calms down the steering, but and will allow the car to handle rough tracks better.
